From the English Department...
Using the Words Their Way program, students are participating in Word Study.
This gives students the opportunity to investigate and understand the patterns in words. By building word knowledge, students will become better readers and writers.

En francais!
In Francais, we have been reading poems and critically thinking about them by giving our opinions and making connections.
Each student has now chosen a short French poem to memorize.
They have been working on their oral expression, including expression, pronunciation and intonation.

AGENDAS
Since the beginning of the year, we have taken time at the end of each day to write in our agendas. Since we returned from Winter Break, we've been keeping track of who has their agenda each day.
